Flatout Suspension – Return, Refund & Chargeback Policy

1. All Sales Final

All Flatout Suspension products are built-to-order performance parts using globally sourced components and strict assembly standards. For this reason, all sales are final once an order is placed.

Refunds are not available for:

  • Buyer’s remorse or dissatisfaction with performance.

  • Improper installation or vehicle fitment errors.

  • Customer preference changes after checkout.


2. Limited Refund Eligibility

Refunds will only be considered under the following circumstances:

  1. Incorrect Product Shipped – If Flatout Suspension ships an item different from what was ordered.

  2. Defective on Arrival – If the product arrives damaged or defective in shipping (must be reported within 7 calendar days of delivery).

  3. Warranty Coverage – Products may be repaired or replaced under warranty. Refunds are not issued under warranty claims. Labor is not compensated, no exceptions.

All other requests are ineligible.


3. Returns & Restocking

If a return or cancellation mid-order is authorized at Flatout Suspension’s sole discretion:

  • A 25% restocking fee applies to the return/ cancellation.

  • Product must be unused, uninstalled, and in original packaging.

  • Customer must pay all return shipping, insurance, and handling costs.

  • Unauthorized or non-compliant returns will be refused and returned to the sender.


4. Proof of Fulfillment

Every order is documented for dispute protection:

  • Carrier tracking number and delivery confirmation.

  • Photographic evidence of product and packaging before shipment.

  • Signature confirmation required for high-value orders.

This documentation will be used in any chargeback dispute to prove proper fulfillment.


5. Chargeback Policy

By completing a purchase with Flatout Suspension, the customer agrees to:

  • Contact Flatout Suspension directly to attempt resolution before initiating any dispute.

  • Accept that dissatisfaction, preference changes, or installation issues do not qualify for refunds or chargebacks.

  • Understand that initiating a chargeback outside this published policy constitutes a breach of the sales agreement.

  • Return the product; at our expense with a provided label, within 7 days of a decision in your favor.

Flatout Suspension reserves the right to pursue legal action and collection efforts in cases of fraudulent or invalid chargebacks.

Flatout Suspension – 3-Year Limited Warranty

1. Coverage & Duration

Flatout Suspension warrants to the original purchaser that our products are free from defects in material and workmanship, under normal use and installation, for a period of the lesser of 36 months (3 years) from installation or 12,000 miles, whichever comes first. 


2. Express Warranty Promise

During this warranty period, Flatout Suspension will, at its option:

  • Repair or replace defective parts at no cost to the purchaser (excluding labor), or

  • Issue a refund for the defective part, in accordance with Maryland implied warranty law and the federal Magnuson–Moss Warranty Act.


3. Conditions & Exclusions

The warranty does not cover:

  • Damage due to misuse, abuse, neglect, improper installation, or unauthorized modifications.

  • Normal wear-and-tear, cosmetic damage, or surface rust.

This warranty may be voided if installation is done improperly or by unqualified individuals.


4. Implied Warranties

Under Maryland law, implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose apply. These mean:

  • Products must perform as an ordinary consumer would reasonably expect.

  • If Flatout Suspension provides specific recommendations, the product must be suitable for that use. 

These implied warranties cannot be excluded or disclaimed when an express warranty is offered. 


5. How to Make a Warranty Claim

To initiate a claim, the customer must:

  1. Contact Flatout Suspension within 36 months or 12,000 miles of installation.

  2. Provide:

    • Proof of purchase & date of installation,

    • Description and photographs of the issue,

    • Installation context (e.g., vehicle model, mileage).

  3. Fill out our warranty service form

  4. If requested, return the defective part prepaid for inspection.


6. Remedies & Legal Rights

If Flatout can't repair or replace a defective product after a reasonable number of attempts, the purchaser may be entitled to a refund or replacement under both Maryland law and the federal Magnuson–Moss Warranty Act.

Under Maryland Commercial Law, the buyer retains rights to repair, replacement, or refund in light of defective goods—even if not explicitly stated.


7. Limitations of Liability

Flatout Suspension’s total liability is limited to repair, replacement, or refund of the defective product. This excludes any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. This limitation is enforceable under the Magnuson–Moss Act and Maryland law.
